CamperLatte at the Pompey Coffee Show ☕💛

On Saturday 19 September 2026, CamperLatte attended the Pompey Coffee Show at St Margaret’s Church on Highland Road, Southsea, serving drinks outside the venue.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a coffee and supported us on the day. It was a lovely opportunity to share what we do and be part of an event celebrating Portsmouth’s independent coffee community.
Running a small coffee business involves plenty of preparation behind the scenes, but serving customers and sharing our coffee is what it’s all for. Taking the camper to an event like this gives us a chance to introduce CamperLatte to people who might not usually pass our regular pitch.
Bringing local coffee businesses together
The first Pompey Coffee Show was organised by Duane Bradshaw, founder of Broadway Coffee Roasters. Its aim was to bring local independent coffee businesses together, encourage collaboration and help people discover different cafés around the city.
As a small local business, that’s something we’re proud to support. Portsmouth has independent businesses with their own stories, styles and ways of doing things, and events like this give people a reason to explore them.
For us, being part of the coffee community means getting to know the people behind other businesses, supporting each other and helping customers discover somewhere they might otherwise have missed. There’s room for plenty of favourite coffee stops!

Great neighbours and amazing food
We were pitched up next to Need Street Food, who kept us fuelled throughout the day with their amazing food!
When you’re working an event, it’s easy to get caught up in preparing orders and making sure everything keeps moving. Having such good food right next door was a real treat.
A big thank you to their team for keeping us fed while we kept the coffees flowing. It was lovely to have them as our neighbours for the day — and a very tasty bonus to being part of the show!

Sharing a little of CamperLatte
We love that a coffee can be the starting point for a conversation. Someone might stop for their usual latte, ask about the camper or want to know more about the beans we serve.
At CamperLatte, we serve Guatemala Antigua coffee from Rocky Coffee Co., our second brand. Being at the show gave us another opportunity to introduce people to both sides of our coffee story.
Whether you know exactly how you like your coffee or fancy trying something different, we always want visiting the camper to feel friendly and welcoming.

We’re part of the Pompey Disloyalty Card scheme
We’re also pleased to be taking part in the Pompey Disloyalty Card scheme.
The scheme encourages customers to explore participating independent coffee businesses, collect stamps and work towards a coffee reward. It was created to keep people discovering and supporting local venues beyond the show itself.
We love the idea of giving people another reason to explore Portsmouth’s coffee scene. It’s easy to settle into a routine and visit the same places, but there could be a new favourite just around the corner.
Every business has its own personality, and we’re delighted that our coffee camper is part of the journey. If you picked up a card at the show, bring it with you next time you visit CamperLatte and ask us about taking part.
Thank you for supporting local
Thank you to the organisers for bringing the event together, to Need Street Food for looking after us, and to everyone who supported CamperLatte on the day.
Support comes in lots of forms: buying a drink, recommending us to a friend, sharing a post or making the effort to find us again after an event. Those little actions help a small business like ours reach more people.
Whether you discovered us at the show or have been visiting for a while, we appreciate every order and every recommendation.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the camper for your next coffee! ☕💛
